About TAKe4
TAKe4Digital started with good intentions back in 2014. As a trailing spouse of an American diplomat, I was looking for my own business that I could take with me as we moved around the world. I decided to build websites. I began training myself on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, hoping to marry those new skills with my lifelong passion for photography. In 2015, we landed in Australia, and I found myself confused and distracted. I was confused by the realities of trying to run a business in a foreign country. I was distracted by the Australian wildlife. I dropped the business plan but I kept the domain name.
The first three letters are my initials and this digital world is arguably my fourth vocation in life, a fourth take on my identity. I continue my photography and computer programming, but as artistic endeavors rather than economic. This site includes some of my past projects, but is focused on my current efforts, although focused is the adjective for the website, not my efforts. If you explore a bit, you might see just how scattered I can be.
